TMG planned and implemented an event at Washington Dulles International Airport to recognize Flight AT218’s inaugural trip as it arrived from Casablanca. The event was attended by local and national media, Morocco’s Ambassador to the United States, Dulles Airport officials, and passengers. Activities included an official water cannon salute, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and speeches from VIPs during the departure ceremony for AT219.
The event included opportunities for guests and other passengers to have their photo taken at “The Wings of Morocco” photo booth, allowing them to share their photo and promote Royal Air Maroc on social media. Guests were treated to Moroccan delicacies at the gate. Upon boarding, each passenger was presented with a Royal Air Maroc gift bag commemorating their historic flight.
Members of both the local and national media attended the event and were escorted to the tarmac to get an up-close look at AT218’s arrival and salute. Afterwards, media representatives were given a special tour of Royal Air Maroc’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
